Daily Feminine Hygiene Tips

A woman’s vagina naturally cleanses itself, however maintaining proper, simple feminine hygiene is still crucial to preventing infections and disease. Here are some hygiene tips women should practice:
• Wash after using the bathroom. Any lingering urine can cause infection and/or odor. Make sure you dry the area after washing for any retaining water may cause a yeast infection.

• Women should always wash after sexual intercourse.

• During the menstrual cycle, women should change their tampon or pad every 4-6 hours. If sanitary products are not being changed as frequent as they should, it could cause odor and increase a woman’s chance of getting an infection.

• Always wash after a swim at the beach or local pool. Sand can cause irritation not to mention sitting in a wet bathing suit limits the amount of air flow to the vagina and the moisture can attract bacteria.

Check out Intimore Fresh Sensitive vaginal wash for after swimming use or Intimore Classic for an everyday cleanse. Intimore also carries wipes for the woman on the go, so you can stay fresh all day!
